What a trip!!! Thank you Karen J. from Canada by Design! What a trip!!!! Karen J. from Canada by Design was amazing in helping us to plan our once in a lifetime trip! Everything was planned perfectly. Thanks to Karen, we stayed in the beautiful Rimrock hotel in Banff- across of the Hot springs and five minutes away from the Gondola. We were picked up for our day trips from our hotel and enjoyed the beauty of the place. In Jasper-Karen suggested to stay at Fairmont Jasper. We LOVED the resort and got a beautiful cabin on the lake. That was an amazing surprise for us! Again the day trips were well organized from A to Z. We finished the trip with a two day ride on the Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver (we got the silver leaf and we were so very happy with it). Canada by Design's staff always responded by email of a phone call, also when Karen was away.

Well, I am still amazed that we were able to get accommodations, Fairmont, train, etc. at last moment... and the way we were able to customize our trip drive/train and explore on our own was awesome!! So, my first kudos goes to Canada By Design for giving us the flexibility. Of course, I adored working with you!!! As far as the trip highlights....I think Jasper was our favorite town, our favorite hike was through the snow at Lake Louise to the Glacier Tea house, our favorite hotel was the Fairmont, and we really enjoyed the train ride/sleeper cabin. The lodging was all great, but Tekarra Lodge's location on the river bank was sooooooo cool! Plus, we enjoyed not being downtown Jasper, and food there was really yummy! Thanks again Jennifer!

It was a dream come true. I am so happy! Thank you so much for putting this together for us! The Northern Tales guides were awesome! Helpful and so passionate about what they do, we loved them all! It was fantastic! The hotel in Vancouver was incredible ! They were so friendly and helpful to us weary travellers! We did the Capilano Suspension Bridge and then enjoyed the view and some wine & tapas from a very nice waterfront hotel!

Being a repeat customer attests to the quality

My planner this year was Paulina. I was very happy with her from start to finish. I did the same type of trip last year to Vancouver Sunshine Coast and Island and was very happy with the travel designer I had then too. Same with another trip earlier was to the Atlantic provinces. . On every trip we were very pleased with the outcome and the one or two tiny glitches that occurred were handled promptly and to a satisfactory conclusion. Being older our self drive touring days are probably over but I would definitely recommend this to anyone - but especially to young parents with families. It is a wonderful way to see the country and the team at Canada by Design seem very very competent in planning it out for maximum benefit. Thank you Paulina - I appreciate the extra care you took.

My wife and I had 10 days on Vancouver Island and the Rockies organised by Jennifer. It was excellent. The accommodation was very good, some of it apartment type which allowed freedom to do a bit of our own cooking. The included activities were first rate and with two nights at each stop the whole trip was very relaxed. Everything went smoothly.

Dale and I just returned from our "Ice Field Discovery" trip. Our vacation could not have been better! Everything was taken care of so we did not have to worry about anything! The train trip was a throw back in time to the 1950's and reminded me of the Zephyr that I rode as a child. Of course, there were many upgrades but the ambiance was so romantic! The bus trip from Jasper to Lake Louise was great. It was an intimate charter bus so we made friends with the other passengers. We made several stops on our journey for pictures and points of interest. Our driver was fantastic. Lake Louise and Banff were the highlights! Our hotel accommodations were upgraded so we got to stay in the "gold" area of the hotel. It was very special.

When we turned off, there were all these trees covered in snow. It was like a Christmas tree fairyland.

I failed to mention how much we liked the hotel in Calgary. What a beautiful building. Our view out the window was the tower. What a treat when it started changing colors at night. It was snowing pretty good. So coming from Texas in the summer it was really special, almost magical. We did not get to see the lake he thought was so pretty cause it was too cloudy, but seeing the snow and trees it did not matter.

We wanted to thank Jasmine Wong and Discover Holidays Inc. for our great fly and self-drive vacation traveling to Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Edmonton & Drumhiller AB from July 24th to August 1st 2018. We had a great time. Good accommodation. Great venues - Banff Sulpher Mt. Gondola, Banff Hot Springs, Columbia Icefield excursion and Tyrell Museum. The weather was perfect, the scenery was breathtaking and the wildlife sightings in and around Jasper and Elk Island National Park were an extra special bonus.
