Whistler Train Trips

Explore the mountain mecca of Whistler and discover hidden emerald lakes and canyons few others get to see on our Whistler and the Canadian Rockies train trip.

Nestled in the Coast Mountains, only 40 kilometres inland from the Pacific Ocean, and 120 kilometres from Vancouver, one of Canada's largest urban centres - Whistler has been consistently ranked as North America's top ski and snowboard resort.

Whistler Blackcomb also welcomed the world in 2010 as a host venue for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Endless sunshine during summer months brings forth the adventure seekers to Whistler.

Spectacular mountain terrains, pristine lakes and evergreen forests offer you an infinite list of outdoor activities.

With easy accessibility by ground transportation on the Sea to Sky Highway, via floatplane or helicopter services – Whistler is a year-round destination not to be missed.

Whistler's consistent and reliable snowfall makes things easy for planning winter vacations.

Whistler Blackcomb is well known for incredible skiing and snowboarding, featuring two massive mountains with terrain to suit all ages and abilities. But there is more to winter here than sliding on snow, with many other ways for families to get out and experience the best of Canada in wintertime. Pick and choose your winter activities from snowshoeing and sleigh rides, cross country skiing, dog sledding, ice skating and more. Summertime in the mountains has to be experienced to be believed. Warm sunshine and long days create the perfect conditions for being active outdoors, and in Whistler you and your family can explore from high in the alpine to lakes, beaches and forests of the valley.

Skiing & Snowboarding Whistler Blackcomb is a dream destination for people who love to ski and snowboard. With over 8,100 acres of snow-covered slopes, 16 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, world-class terrain parks and half pipes and 200+ marked trails for all ability levels, Whistler Blackcomb is the ultimate in big mountain experiences. Whistler continues to top mountain resort rankings year after year and was named Number One Ski Resort in North America by readers of SKI Magazine for 2016.

Summer Adventures Whistler's list of summer activities is a mile long. Top it off with an eclectic mix of events, family-friendly atmosphere and a fun and vibrant arts and culture scene for the ultimate summer destination. From zip-lining, jet boating, mountain & cross country biking, ATV adventures to bungee jumping are just a few of the activities on offer. Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains boast hiking trails with incredible views. Choose from short, family friendly strolls on wide paths to more advanced hikes to lakes, glaciers and alpine meadows.

Peak to Peak Gondola For stunning 360-degree views of snow-covered Whistler Village and soaring mountains – a ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is not to be missed! The ride spans over 2 mountain ranges with a length of 4.4KM/2.73mi with a ride time of just 11 minutes! It holds world records for the longest free span between ropeway towers—3.03 kilometres (1.88 miles) and highest point above the ground—436 metres (1,430 feet.) Each gondola cabin can hold up to 28 people each with 26 seating and 6 standing plus 2 special gondolas with glass floors.

Golfing With 4 champion golf courses designed by world renowned golfers and set amongst remarkable mountain ranges, Whistler offers you superb playing conditions in fresh mountain air.
